Meet Our Hairy Neighbors

Admin · August 8, 2020 · Leave a Comment

Ok, they aren’t really our permanent neighbors but they are definitely hairy. We have a female and her calf that have taken up shop in our side field. It’s a good private area for them with six foot high Fireweed all throughout. The calf wanders into our backyard where it is fascinated with the chickens. We don’t mind but we have to look twice when we venture out there. By the way, our wry neck chicken is recovering nicely and back with her flock.

A mutual fascination between the calf and the chickens.

Sandhill Crane family that took their time crossing a street in downtown Homer.

Be well & green dreams!
